ALERT: Arizona Restricted Species Would Prohibit Common Aquarium Species

Arizona has proposed expanding its restricted species regulation to prohibit over 100 species of fish, many of which are common aquarium fish that do not pose any risk of establishing in the state. The proposal includes species such as glass catfish and all other species in the family Siluridae, pictus catfish and all other species in the family Pimelodidae, and all species of arowanas. The proposal can be found here.
